LEVEL 2 AWARD IN STROKE AWARENESS
The Stroke Awareness course aims to build on your understanding of what it means for someone to have a stroke and your caring experience. The course will suggest lots of ideas about how you can help people in your care during and after a stroke.
This is a single-unit knowledge award which provides the opportunity to develop understanding of the different types of stroke, signs and symptoms and effects on individuals. It will also help learners to gain knowledge of the response needed in the event of an emergency stroke incident.
