ABOUT

Kemble Training is a Hereford based City & Guilds approved training centre who specialise in the provision of training courses for the Health & Social Care sector. We have been delivering excellent quality training to our partners since 2012 and our reputation continues to go from strength to strength.  

 

All of our trainers and assessors are experienced care professionals and as such our training is authentic and engaging.  We offer everything from half day refreshers to work based learning opportunities meaning we are a one stop shop for many of our customers.

THE TEAM

PETER KING
Managing Director

Peter set up Kemble Training in 2014 in response to what he considered to be a lack of quality, local training provision for the health & social care industry.  His interest is in using a holistic training approach to raise standards at all levels from front line care to senior management, with a view to raising recognition of this often under-rewarded, overlooked, yet absolutely essential sector.

 

Peter is also managing director of Kemble Care, Herefordshire’s leading homecare provider, and secretary of the Marches Skills Provider Network – the organisation that promotes skills and learning within the Marches local enterprise partnership.  His background is an Army Officer and businessman.

LUCY MORAN
Learning and Development Officer

Lucy Moran is a Learning and Development Officer with Kemble Training. Her responsibilities include course development, delivery and assessment. Lucy also delivers training and on going assessment and support for learners undertaking QCF programmes, which includes e learning portfolios and occupational observations.
 

Lucy believes that high standards of practice must be based upon a solid foundation of evidence based continued learning. Her background is in Nursing, Midwifery and Health and Social Care where she has experience in clinical, management and training roles.

KAREN PERRY
Learning and Development Officer
SHANNON BARNES
Centre Administrator

Shannon is the Centre Administrator at Kemble Training with responsibilities including ensuring records are effective and up to date. As well as providing support to the team, she is the first point of contact for the company with providing excellent customer service. Her own experience is varied, having worked in long term training administrative roles within the Education sector.
