PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
This first aid qualification has been developed to meet the requirements set out in the Department for Education's Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (2014) for first-aid training in Ofsted-regulated childcare settings. At least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises at all times when children are present and accompany children on outings.

Assessing an emergency situation safely

Provide first aid to a child in different situations and circumstances

Administer first aid to a child with injuries or medical conditions

Administer first aid to a child who has been stung, bitten or poisoned

Complete records relating to illness, injuries and emergencies
