APPRENTICESHIP
HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED APPRENTICESHIP
An apprenticeship is a great way to build your knowledge and boost you onto the route of progression and promotion in the workplace.
An Apprenticeship is a mixture of on and off the job learning and development whilst apprentices work alongside other staff to gain job-specific skills, whilst getting paid and gaining a qualification. The Intermediate (level 2) and Advanced (level 3) Apprenticeships in social care are made up of different parts that give learners a range of skills and knowledge. Each component plays a key role in developing a capable, confident and skilled worker.

WHICH LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Level 2 - will suit you if you are a care worker or want to get your first care job. If you're already working in care, you probably work mainly under supervision. You want to increase your skills and take on more responsibility.
Level 3 - is ideal if you're a care worker, and you have some responsibility in your workplace. You sometimes work without supervision. You want to develop or demonstrate your skills, perhaps to become a senior care worker.
