This safegaurding refresher course will improve attendees knowledge on recent developments in Safeguarding practice and changes to the legal and strategic framework whilst exploring the role of Safeguarding in the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults. It will ensure that each attendee understands and identifies the different types of abuse and is clear about their role if safeguarding fails and abuse is suspected or disclosed.
