This medication refresher course will enable attendees to gain knowledge and information on their role and responsibilities in relation to prompting, assisting and administering medication to others. It is essential that care workers demonstrate their abilities to complete medication records, have a basic understanding of different types of medication and side effects from prescription medications. Although this course does not only benefit a care or support worker, but also relates to anyone who comes into contact with medication of any kind.
